  • Preparation: 20 min.

    Cook: 30 min.

  • Ingredients

    • 1 brick cheddar cheese (40 g)
    • 300 g cretons (pork spread)
    • 80 ml (1/3 cup) chopped fresh parsley
    • 1 clove garlic, chopped
    • 250 ml (1 cup) flour
    • 3 eggs beaten
    • 250 ml (1 cup) Panko breadcrumbs
    • Vegetable oil for frying

    Preparation

    • Cut 8 sticks about 5 g. each from the cheddar cheese brick.
    • In a bowl, mix the cretons, parsley and garlic.
    • In the palm of your hand place 1 tablespoon of the meat mixture and a cheese stick. Close your hand and shape into a patty while making sure the cheese stays in the middle. Make 8 of them. Dredge in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs. Dip again in eggs and in the Panko breadcrumbs.
    • Heat oil in a deep fryer or frying pan. Drop the patties into the hot oil. Let them cook and stir the fritters occasionally. When the patties are nice and golden, remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel. Let them cool because they will be very hot! Enjoy.

    Bon appetit!
